GCI partners with a variety of organizations to deliver facility certification and training solutions for our clients and global business. We work with hundreds of vendors, including small and diverse businesses, to provide services in over 12 cities around the world.

The Certified Green Data Center Consultant program gives GCI the opportunity to partner with organizations to simultaneously drive business value and promote sustainability. GCI’s core values of Credibility, Reliability, Fairness, Innovation and Leadership are at the heart of all that we do. We have high expectations of ourselves and our extended community of vendor partners as we work together to achieve our objectives.

As a Certified Green Data Center Consultant, you are required to understand the integration of the documentation, plans, specifications, construction and ongoing operational management activities of a green data center facility while meeting applicable codes, standards and industry best practices.  This includes addressing the requirements of the sponsor, architects, engineers, contractors, stakeholders, service providers and others involved.

Our method to due diligence is an indispensable component of our approach to risk management. Before discussing specific opportunities, you will be asked to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement. For services offered on a trial basis, an Evaluation Agreement may also be required.

If we move forward to on-board you as a certified Consultant, we will provide an agreement that will govern our relationship. There are certain principles that apply to our vendors which you can expect to see in our agreement. For example, you will be asked to comply with all applicable laws and regulations (including data privacy and data protection laws, if relevant); to maintain the confidentiality of our information, and, to the extent you have access to our information or systems, meet our applicable data security, privacy and protection standards.

There are a number of important information that describe our expectations of our consultants, which you will find below. We would encourage you to read this, and are happy to discuss any questions you may have in this regard. Once we agree on the terms that govern a relationship, we apply those terms to future orders and engagements to enhance the speed and efficiency of the contracting process.
